Dunlight was bred and raised first in Texas on a large ranch, then made her way up to Nebraska and then Virginia where I got her from Triple M Farm. She has really filled out to be a beautiful AQHA mare. She responds really well to Natural Horsemanship training and is quickly finishing out into a very nice saddle horse. She was in training and places in HUS and WP at the local shows. Her training was progressing well with her wonderful ranch-bred mentality and willing disposition make her a dream to ride and work. She pulled a suspensory ligament and is now taking a few years off as a broodmare.

Sweet and easy going filly, born and raised here at Touchstone Farms. Late bloomer but finally coming into her own.
Good all around prospect, flat kneed mover with a good hip to her.
Maya is a very special mare. She came to our farm for foaling out in 2012 and foaled a gorgeous bright chestnut colt. She was always a wonderful mover and sweet mare, not broke to saddle she had been a broodmare to several other gorgeous paint foals over the years. On July 3, 2012 our barn caught fire with her and another broodmare in the paddock around the barn both with their colts. People saw the other mare and let her out, Maya however was trapped in a corner of the paddock in the middle of the night and obviously shielded her colt from the heat of the flames. Her body was heat scorched from head to tail on both sides while the colt only had small marks on his face from probably trying to nurse. We thought we were going to lose her afterwards, but moved her and the colt into the house garage and created an ICU area for her and had her on IV fluids, antibiotics, pain meds for several weeks. With the care and donations of many dozens of friends and the horse community she was able to make a full recovery with minimal scaring. She now lives her life out here and will possibly be bred in the future.
Amber is out of Dancin On Thin Ice (a lovely light palomino mare I own who is on lease in NC) and by Watch Tyree Jack (an athletic, well-bred Two Eyed Jack stallion). I bought her dam already bred because I love Two Eyed Jack foals and wanted my own. She is a spunk and has been alpha female since she was born. She's independent, willing, and a supreme athlete. She's really begun to fill out and is now trail riding all over the state of Virginia, checking cattle, and beginning to think about some team sorting practices.

Touchstones Xena
DOB: Spring 2003
AQHA /APHA Bred Grade Mare
Height: 15.3 hh

This mare has the looks, the build, the training, and the color to stand out in any crowd. BIG foundation built grade mare from Pennyslvania, been used as a ranch horse working cows. Great all around mare, acts and looks like a gelding that anyone from a kid to a full grown cowboy can ride and enjoy! We'll see what she can do in the ranch sorting competitions and may try some barrels or pole bending on her, possibly even some goat tying!
Haidas Little Peppy
DOB: May 20, 1999
AQHA Cow Bred Mare
Sire: Lees Little Peppy (Peppy San Badger x Juano Dos)
Dam: Haidas Magic Rose
Stands roughly 14.1hh

Branded with an 08 on her hip, we bought her at auction cheap as she was older and supposedly too hot to ride. Very reasonable under saddle and great on the trails, possibly was a polo pony at one time, handles one handed well and nothing bothers her. She's got Peppy San Badger on her papers on Dam and Sire's side.
Bred her to our Blue Road Stallion for a 2018 summer foal.
